At the time our credit union was founded in 1934, it was known as Colorado State Employees Credit Union. In the early days, only active state employees could be members. A lot has changed since then, and today we are known as the Credit Union of Colorado, a name that better reflects our broad and diverse membership.
With more than 80 years of experience serving members, we’re proud of our strength, stability, and history as a member-owned financial institution. And we’re equally excited for what’s next.
Today, more than 130,000 people, from all walks of life, enjoy the benefits of membership in a credit union that is worth over $1.53 billion in assets.
